Dear NABSE Family,
I am asking you to join us in saving the NABSE building. Since its founding, NABSE has grown to be the premier organization for thoughtful educational leaders who are committed to educating all children, particularly those of African descent. As we begin this Capital Campaign we need your help. We maintain a headquarters in a prime location in the nation's capital mere blocks away from the doorstep of power. To keep, maintain, and retire the mortgage on this facility, we are calling on all of our members and friends as well as our corporate and institutional partners for assistance.
Education is at the core of so many issues facing our nation. Wealth inequality continues to explode and many are finding it difficult to avoid poverty. Teaching and training future leaders is what will provide a decent quality of life for our children. Protecting our children's future demands investments today. We are asking you to invest in the people and institutions that truly ensure the nation's children are adequately taught with the necessary cultural competence.
Please help us by donating during this Capital Campaign. Stand arm-in-arm with those on the front lines of educating the nation's youth. Show your commitment to NABSE but most importantly show your commitment to the students, parents and communities we serve, by contributing to our Capital Campaign.
President, National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE)
