Founded in 1968, Hillsborough Community College is the 5th largest public community college in Florida and serves over 43,000 students across 5 campuses. Dedicated to its vision to deliver education of the highest standards enabling a diverse community of life-long learners to achieve their maximum potential in a global society, HCC offers over 65 AA & AS degree program and over 80 certification & PSAV programs. In January 2008, the school opened its first residence hall, Hawk's Landing and one of the few community colleges with its own residence hall.
