Keith D. Greer
Keith D. Greer

Keith Greer, former principal of Maricopa County Regional School District, Coolidge, and Casa Grande Union High School is a nationally recognized, award-winning administrator noted for his innovative approach to school improvement. Currently he is a Partner with the firm The Principal's Office, LLC.

A veteran educator, Mr. Greer spent the last 6 out of 7 years as principal of Casa Grande-one of the largest rural high schools in Arizona with a student population of over 3300. During his tenure, the school has achieved increased graduation rates, improved standardized test scores, an 80% reduction in incidences of fighting, a 70% reduction in suspensions and a reduced drop- out rate of 1.3% from a previous high of 45%. Casa Grande Union High School also has been recognized and awarded for its numerous school improvement achievements. Keith also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix and Mesa Community College.

Mr. Greer's presentations and workshops have made him a highly demanded speaker and consultant. While the story of Casa Grande Union High School and its successful turn-around is aspiring and motivating, Mr. Greer also delvers clear-cut, practical strategies for leaders and schools that outline a path for success.

Mr. Greer is also the Immediate Past Arizona State President of the Arizona Association of Black School Educators (AABSE) and has served The National Association of Black Educators since 1995.

His seminars focus on these topics:

  • School Improvement Process Based on Effective Schools Research
  • Changing School Culture
  • Breaking Ranks II: Strategies for Leading High School Reform
  • Building Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals
  • Using Data to Create Meaningful Change
  • Building Collaborative Teams/Professional Learning Communities
  • Structure English Immersion (SEI) Training
