Congressman Obey (D- WI) and appropriations chair's reduced Supplemental bill passes July 1 with a $10 million education jobs provision. The Supplemental bill produces some rescissions in education. See document for CEF's analysis. It is not clear when the Senate will take up the supplemental (though not before July 13.)Any changes in the Senate will send the bill back to the House.
