Position Summary
The Director of Programming and Logistics ensures that all NABSE and NAPC (National Alliance of Programming and Convenings) events are executed with excellence and strategic alignment. This role leads the design, scheduling, and logistics of the Annual Conference, monthly programming, and special events like the Education Policy Institute and Research Summit.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Programming
- Plan and execute monthly national engagement events.
- Coordinate scheduling, platform access, and resource sharing.
National Conference Logistics
- Lead planning and on-site execution of the NABSE Annual Conference.
- Manage venue coordination, vendor relations, and run-of-show documentation.
Signature Events
- Oversee the Education Policy Institute and Research Summit logistics.
- Align events with NABSE’s research and policy goals.
Program Curation
- Ensure relevant, mission-driven programming with diverse voices.
- Recruit presenters, facilitators, and partners.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Align event promotion with communications team.
- Track and report on programming outcomes and revenue.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Education, Nonprofit Management, or Event Production (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in event management or programming.
- Skilled in tools like Zoom, Eventbrite, Google Workspace.
- Strong logistical and organizational skills.
